The instructions for Aluminium Foil Laminated Paper Bag

The aluminium foil laminated paper bag is a high-performance packaging product composed of paper and aluminium foil through a special lamination process. It combines the advantages of paper's good toughness, printability, and environmental friendliness with aluminium foil's excellent barrier properties (against moisture, oxygen, light, and odours). This makes it widely applicable in packaging various products such as food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and electronic components, effectively extending the shelf life of the packaged items and maintaining their quality.

Before using the aluminium foil laminated paper bag, carefully inspect it for any damage, such as holes, cracks, or tears in the paper or aluminium foil layers. Also, check the sealing part to ensure it is intact and there is no leakage. If any damage is found, do not use the bag to avoid affecting the packaging effect.

Do not expose the aluminium-foil laminated paper bag to high temperatures for a long time, such as placing it in an oven or microwave oven (unless the bag is specifically marked as microwave-safe). High temperatures may cause the aluminium foil to melt or the paper to burn, affecting the bag's performance and even causing safety hazards.

The sealing methods for Aluminium Foil Laminated Paper Bag

● Heat Sealing
This is a common and effective sealing method. Use a heat sealer that is suitable for aluminium foil laminated materials. Adjust the temperature and pressure of the heat sealer according to the thickness and material of the bag. Generally, the temperature ranges from 120°C to 180°C, and the pressure is adjusted to ensure a tight seal. Place the opening of the bag between the heating plates of the sealer, align the sealing edges, and press the sealer to heat and seal the bag. Hold the pressure for a few seconds (usually 2-5 seconds) to ensure a firm seal, then release the pressure.

● Pressure Sealing
For some bags with a self-sealing strip, simply press the sealing strips together firmly to achieve a seal. Make sure the sealing strips are aligned correctly and pressed evenly to ensure a tight seal.

● Sealing Tape
If a heat sealer is not available, you can use sealing tape that is compatible with the bag material. Apply the sealing tape along the opening of the bag, ensuring that it covers the entire opening and adheres firmly to both sides of the bag.

● Valve top sealing(after filling)
For an aluminium-foil laminated paper bag, the tuck-in sleeve is normally used. After filling, the operator folds the protruding sleeve 180° back into the pocket under the valve, adding one more barrier against leakage. If the bag with different valve sleeve, it will be operated according to the valve spout's method.
