Can you use toilet paper and tissue paper?

1. Different raw materials

The raw materials for making toilet paper and tissue paper are different. In papermaking raw materials, primary pulp refers to pure primary fibers, including primary wood pulp, bamboo pulp, straw pulp, etc. Regenerated pulp, in contrast, is a slurry made from recycled materials, including recycled wood, bamboo, grass pulp, etc. According to national standards, the use of recycled pulp is allowed in the production of toilet paper, while stricter requirements are required for the production of tissue paper. Recycled pulp cannot be used, and raw pulp must be used.

2. Different hygiene standards

The hygiene standards used in the production of toilet paper and tissue paper are also different, with different requirements for indicators such as humidity toughness, paper bacterial content, and transferability of fluorescent whitening agents. In terms of the bacterial content of paper, toilet paper requires a total bacterial colony count of no more than 600 per gram, while tissue paper requires a bacterial colony count of 200 per gram.

There is a difference between toilet paper and tissue paper. Due to the tendency of toilet paper to break when wiping the face, the texture is rough, and the hygiene standards are not as strict as tissue paper, it is recommended to use toilet paper instead. Facial tissue has a certain degree of humidity resistance and can be used for facial and hand cleaning after getting wet. However, it is not suitable to replace toilet paper as it may clog the toilet; And napkins can be used during meals to wipe the mouth.
